Diagnostics:
To say that Pandanus pygmaeus is a common cultivated herb is an understatement. It can be found cultivated almost everywhere in public areas, due to its attractive variegated leaves.
Interesting Facts:
The Pygmy Pandan is so named as it is one of the smallest pandan around. It is endemic to Madagascar, and found in freshwater wetlands, rock faces and near forested sites (FloraFaunaWeb, n.d.).
