Annona muricata is a small tree commonly grown privately for its fruits. The alternately arranged, hairless leaves are glossy on the upper surface. The aggregate fruit is somewhat tear-drop shape, and covered by hook-like spines.

Interesting Facts:

The edible fruit of Soursop is consumed raw, or used in drinks. It is high in Vitamin C and dietary fibers (Wikipedia).
