Diagnostics:

Archontophoenix alexandrae is a commonly cultivated palm. The graceful single-stem palm has greyish-green leaves and crown shaft. The fronds is slightly twisted along the length to be almost vertically positioned. The leaflets are stiff and straight.


Interesting Facts:

The Alexandra Palm grows naturally along streams and swampy areas in the rainforests of Australia (Wee, 2003).
