An unmistakable climber with huge broad leaves when growing wild. The leaves are often variegated with shades of green (likely to be cultivars), with cuts along the blades, though not always present. The leaves when small, are somewhat heart-shaped. It can be found in most disturbed forests.

The Money Plant is cultivated widely as an indoor plant because of its fast growth, ease of cultivation, and of course, growing well in shade.
