Diagnostics:

A very common shrub or small tree of up to 9m, growing near forest edges. It can be easily identified from the golden hairs that cover the entire plant. The leaves are serrated and bear very prominent tertiary veins when viewed from underneath. The leaf shape can be highly variable.
