Pandanus atrocarpus is a Pandan that can grow up to an impressive height of 18m. It is found in wet, swampy area in the MacRitchie Reservoir, Nee Soon Swamp Forest, and the Western Catchment Area (Tan et al., 2012). The mid-rib and both sides of the leaf margins are lined with spines.
