A common woody climber that is particularly abundant along Prunus Trail, MacRitchie Reservoir due to the presence of many saplings. It can be easily differentiated from other congeners by the shape of the leaflets. Each of the leaflet have a notched tip just like Rourea mimosoides, but the leaflet base of this species strongly unequal.
