A common fern that can be found along the trails of our nature reserves in Central Catchment. The fronds have three forms of pinnae. The tip is a pinna that is more or less triangular with lobes between, followed by oppositely arranged lanced-shaped pinnae. The base pinnae is lobed such that one of the lobes is pointed backwards.
