A dated post of several months back... I was all in for a different adventure, having visited most of the forests in Singapore. Tampines Quarry was something that I was not aware of till I saw a couple of hikers post a video about it. 

It has been years back since I visited the intertidal area at Changi Beach, and I'm glad to be back. This is one of my favourite intertidal spots on mainland Singapore. The following photos are taken by and credited to my good friend Fiona.

Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve was expanded to subsume Kranji Nature Trail 5 years ago, and I have not visited it since the refurbishment. The old trail was rustic and I enjoyed it a lot, and I always wonder how the new one look like.

Sembawang Hot Springs is the only naturally occurring hot spring on mainland Singapore, with another in Pulau Tekong. It is located a convenience distance of a few bus stops from Yishun MRT.

The Southern Ridges cover a length of more than 10km, linking Kent Ridge Park, HortPark, Telok Hill Park, Mount Faber and Labrador Park together. I have personally never trekked the entire length, just parts of it, and this was my first attempt for Telok Blangah Hill Park.
